Daily Bread has been trading as an independent wholefoods co-operative in Cambridge for 30 years.
We are dedicated to providing ethically-sourced products including a wide variety of local, organic, gluten-free, and vegan options, all at a fair price, avoiding the exploitation of others and our natural world.
All of our produce is 100% suitable for vegetarians. Our product ranges include food produce, body and hair care, and household cleaning products, some of which are also available at our refill stations. We have an in-store cafe serving fresh cakes, savoury snacks and hot and cold drinks.
With an awareness and practice in always trying to provide sustainable, ethically-sourced products, we are able to meet the needs of the present without compromising the future. This enables us as a co-operative to continue in our mission to be fair, caring, and sustainable.

“Come for the variety, return for the ethics. Almost everything they sell is vegan and/or cruelty free. Everything else is vegetarian. Palm oil is also avoided and all loose goods are packed on site with lots of packaging-free refill options.”
